A set of interactions describing the typical or ideal steps to accomplish one task in one product – screens, decisions, system responses. No emotion track, no other channels: it’s the diagram you reach for when the question is “why do people abandon this form”, not “why do people leave us”.
Two narrower relatives: a task flow strips it to the single ideal path with no branches, and a screen flow rebuilds it from actual screens once structure and visual direction are settled.
