Wireframe
A deliberately unstyled layout – structure and hierarchy only, no colour, no real type, no imagery.
Grey boxes on purpose. A wireframe strips the visual layer so the conversation can only be about the right things: what’s on the page, what outranks what, where things live. The conversation it’s built to trigger: “is the structure right?”
Critiquing colour or font choice in a wireframe review is reviewing decisions that were deliberately not made yet – the classic way these reviews derail.
